Aixia today announces that, together with Evroc and Opper, the company is initiating a strategic collaboration within the framework of Build Nordics AI – a joint initiative aimed at developing and scaling next-generation AI infrastructure and AI services with strong Nordic roots.

The initiative aims to create a competitive, secure, and scalable AI platform, built in the Nordic region, to meet the rapidly growing global demand for AI capacity while strengthening Europe’s digital independence.

The initiative will be presented in connection with NVIDIA GTC 2026 in Silicon Valley.

A Nordic counterforce in the global AI race

The global AI market is currently largely dominated by American and Asian players. At the same time, the need for regional control over data, infrastructure, and AI models is increasing – particularly in Europe.

Together, the partners address the entire value chain – from infrastructure to business applications.
