The medical technology company Bibb Instruments announces that its partner Taewoong Medical USA has sold Endodrill to four university hospitals in the USA, ahead of a broader launch next year. This is stated in a press release.The announcement comes after Bibb recently concluded a tour in the USA, where it met with representatives from six university hospitals and supported Taewoong. The response is reported to have been strong."Several of the hospitals expressed a clear interest in the product, particularly given the need for more robust and reproducible core biopsies in EUS sampling. The team could also note that Endodrill's unique ability to generate high-quality tissue samples in a single needle pass or a few needle passes is a strong differentiating factor compared with today's manual FNB needles", writes the company.
