Niche bank Norion Bank extends the acceptance period for its recommended offer for Consensus Asset Management through March 31, according to a press release.The announcement comes after the initial acceptance period was expected to expire on March 13. The extension is due to the fact that Finansinspektionen's ownership assessment connected to Norion's offer for Consensus is likely to be concluded at the end of March. To await the decision, the bank has applied for an exemption from Aktiemarknadsnämnden to be able to extend the initial acceptance period in the offer to March 31, 2026. Completion of the offer is, among other things, conditional on necessary regulatory approvals, including an ownership assessment by Finansinspektionen.Norion presented its offer on November 21. The acceptance period began on January 2.
