The software company Hoodin is carrying out a directed new share issue of 10.7 million shares at a subscription price of SEK 0.2 per share. The company will receive approximately SEK 2.1 million before issue costs. Among the investors are existing owners Lennart Ekerholm and Alsteron as well as new investor Grindcode Holding. The company says the capital will be used for continued commercialization, strategic partnerships and product development. The board believes that a directed share issue has been more advantageous than a rights issue and points, among other things, to lower costs, shorter execution time and less dilution. The subscription price corresponds to a premium of approximately 3.1 percent to the closing price on May 20.
