Life science company Acucort is participating in the BIO International Convention in San Diego, United States, to hold discussions with potential international partners, according to a press release.The company says that interest from possible partners has "clearly increased" after Acucort reached an agreement with the FDA in April on the pediatric study plan for Zeqmelit. The agreement is an important regulatory milestone ahead of the planned application for marketing approval in the United States later in 2026.According to CEO Jonas Jönmark, the FDA announcement gives the company a strong starting position in the ongoing partner discussions. Acucort will be represented by the CEO and the company's Chief Business Development Officer at the conference.The event takes place on June 22-25.
