Biotech company Cyclezyme has formed a wholly owned subsidiary under the working name Melanova Bioscience for the further development and future commercialisation of the melanin patent that the company has agreed to acquire. The subsidiary will, among other things, work on technical and commercial development, industrial partnerships and licensing. Stefan Lundström has been appointed CEO of the business."The work will initially focus on continued verification of the technology, identification of relevant application areas, discussions with potential partners and development of a long-term commercial plan," the company writes.
