Research company Hamlet Biopharma reports that new research findings on Bamlet have been published in Scientific Reports, a scientific journal within Nature’s Portfolio. This is stated in a press release. The study shows that Bamlet in drinking water reduces weight gain, blood glucose levels and the growth of adipose tissue, and improves intestinal function in several models of obesity and diabetes. The results also provide new knowledge about the biological mechanisms and strengthen the scientific basis for using Bamlet to improve metabolic health.Bamlet is a complex of alpha-lactalbumin and oleic acid and belongs to the same family of protein-lipid complexes as Hamlet and Alpha1H. The current study is preclinical, and Bamlet has not yet been evaluated as a treatment for obesity or diabetes in humans. Further studies will form the basis for the development of both nutrition-based products and future medical applications.
