Finwire about Beowulf Mining PLC: Beowulf continues to drive NordicPipe without EU support

Mining company Beowulf announces that the NordicPipe project will continue without funding from the EU agency EIT. The decision follows increased administrative requirements and costs associated with the program.The project, which is led by the subsidiary Jokkmokk Iron, is to develop pipelines for ore transport. The work continues as planned in line with the Kallak project. No financial details are given regarding the change. Beowulf Mining announced in March, however, that Jokkmokk Iron, together with partners, had been awarded conditional support of EUR 1.1 million from EIT RawMaterials for the innovation project NordicPipe, with a total budget of EUR 2.4 million. The consortium is led by Jokkmokk Iron and includes, among others, Sweco Sverige, Luleå University of Technology and Paterson & Cooke
