AI company Aixia congratulates 3stepIT on taking home the prestigious ITAD Innovation Award at the ITAD Summit 2025 trade fair in Las Vegas. The award is presented to the actor who "has developed equipment, processes or tools that drive the ITAD industry forward through efficiency, ethics and customer benefit" (itadsummit.com).

Aixia, a partner of 3stepIT, has developed the award-winning solution based on Aixia's proprietary concept, Industrial AI, which has the AiQu™ software as a base and a specially designed inspection rig that uses high-resolution cameras and deep-learning models to perform a completely objective AI-based visual inspection of used laptops. The system classifies wear and identifies damage - which gives 3stepIT a scalable and transparent process for the rapidly growing second-hand market for IT equipment (3stepit.com).
