The technology company Freetrailer, which operates in the sharing economy, increased the number of rentals by 18.3 percent to 396,388 during the second quarter of the 2025/26 fiscal year. The number of rentals in the past twelve months rose 15.2 percent to 1,665,288. At year-end, over 1 million users had registered on the company's platform. The number of trailers and cargo bikes in operation increased 22.1 percent to 6,381. "During the second quarter, Freetrailer strengthened our European expansion with 471 new trailers on the market. During the quarter, we entered into several new important partnership agreements, including with Granngården in Sweden and Het Goed Kringloop in the Netherlands. With more than 450 trailers on order, we continue to expect to reach our goal of more than 7,000 rental units on the market by June 30, 2026. In December 2025, we reached an important milestone at Freetrailer. Since the launch of our user platform in June 2024, more than 1,000,000 users have created an account on the Freetrailer platform," says Freetrailer chief Nicolai Frisch Erichsen.
